I'm newly obsessed with the idea of mixing patterns...but have yet to actually try it. It seems like success depends on the two patterns having similar boldness of color (ie not a pale pattern and a dark pattern?) and maybe at least one color in common as well? I welcome any tips on mixing prints with great success....Here are two examples I love, both from the Sartorialist.
