When the weather gets warm, I want to put my hair up and wrap my head with colorful fabrics. But I'm too shy to. Even headbands intimidate me! Something about pulling my hair back and exposing my face makes me feel a combination of overly exposed, but also somehow regal...It also reminds me of when I had a shaved head, like I couldn't hide behind my hair anymore - both frightening and exciting. Maybe this will be the summer I bust out....
